Course Purpose
The course provides skills relating to the minimisation of personal risk whilst dealing with potentially volatile subjects. It also provides for the successful resolution of confrontational situations. The current trend in personal risk management and safety has shown the effectiveness of avoidance strategies, situational awareness and environmental design as factors contributing to the safety of individuals where risk is inherent.

Course Structure
The personal risk management and safety course is a 1 day intensive course which is conducted ‘in-house’ for organisations with 8 or more course participants or at one of our conference centres for the ‘public’ courses. The course is delivered through accredited presenters who are also qualified investigators from law enforcement agencies. The following areas form the major components of the personal risk management and safety course.
Adult learning techniques applied through the course were developed by our presenters using ‘action based learning techniques’ to make the course an interactive and self assessing experience.
Course Fee
The cost per participant is dependant on the course being taken as a package or individually. The course cost is inclusive of GST and includes a course handbook, certificate of attendance and morning and afternoon refreshments.
